'TOP GUNS'

Team TOP GUNS was initiated in November 2009 with the budding thought of "defying aerial frontiers" and fuelled by the energetic minds of 16 diligent members. We're part of a vibrant institution, N.I.T. JAMSHEDPUR, which helps support the openness, innovation and opportunity of various engineering applications.

Team Top Guns under the able guidance of Sarvesh Kumar Dubey, participated in SAE-Aero Design 2010,held in Van Nuys, Califonia from 5-7 March 2010.

This year the baton has been passed on to Mukul Kumar, a 3rd yr Mechanical Engg student. The other affiliates of the team are from various branches like Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics engineering. This group proliferated under the able guidance of Prof. R.V. Sharma, the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, N.I.T. Jamshedpur, a highly experienced and adept faculty of the institute who imparted a well determined channel to our exuberant notions.

The Top Guns is once more gunning for 2011 Edition of SAE Aero Design. This time the team will come up with two aeroplanes - one for the " Regular class " and other for the" Micro class " .
