SECE is a newly formed departmental society. It was established on 18th of Feb,2015. The initiative was taken by the Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Prof. (Dr.) S.N Singh, in tandem with ECE 2k12 students. Prof. Amit Prakash and Prof. B. Pradhan are Faculty Advisors of this society with Anuj Goyal as its student President. The Society is currently 200 strong. The prime objective of SECE is promoting and advancing the study and practice of Science and Technology with a special emphasis on electronics and communication.Shortly after its inception, an Analog Maker Competition was held, in association with Texas Instruments in which over 200 students participated from different streams of engineering. The first departmental fest, ELECTRONEX-2015 was organised successfully from 17th-20th April, 2015. Students of all branches participated in huge numbers, and won prizes worth INR 13,000 in different events. SECE looks forward to organise International conferences and Guest Lectures, Paper Presentations and various other events to further the cause of engineering.
